This work, the first official composition in the composer’s catalogue, is a simple fanfare. It shows the influences of George Gershwin and Dave Brubeck from the time of its composition. It was written for an occasion when the Bishop of Helena visited St. Francis Xavier Parish in Missoula, Montana.
